PINYON is more THAN JUST A NAME — it tells a story OF CONNECTION and TRADITION, INSPIRED by the COASTS of the MEDITERRANEAN.

Rooted in a Journey

At Pinyon, our story begins with a walk through a quiet coastal village along the Mediterranean. We came across a solitary pinyon pine—not the tallest or most striking tree, but one that seemed to belong so completely to the landscape it felt almost sacred. The villagers spoke of its resilience, and of the extraordinary pine nuts it produced—tiny treasures that had nourished families for generations. These pine nuts weren’t just food; they carried tradition, connection, and a kind of magic.

That spirit stayed with us. Inspired by travels across Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, Malta, and Morocco, we created Pinyon to celebrate the Mediterranean’s vibrant food culture—timeless recipes, coastal traditions, and the simple beauty and joy of sharing a meal.

“At Pinyon, our goal is to provide more than just a meal. We want to give our guests an authentic Mediterranean experience—one that highlights the region’s rich culinary traditions while fostering a sense of community, one plate at a time.”
